ANNUAL NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD MASS 8TH AUGUST 2024

The annual Mass will be celebrated in the Welsh language in St Dyfrig's Church, Treforest, at 6pm on Thursday 8th August. The principal Celebrant will be Bishop Edwin Regan, and the preacher will be Fr Gildas Parry, O.Præm. There will be light refreshments after the celebration. Bilingual booklets will be available.
Next Sunday ( 22nd June ) we have 6 candidates making their First Holy Communion. As is tradition the candidates will share a breakfast in the hall after mass. We would like those parishioners who are able to contribute to the FHC breakfast. There is a list in the porch for you to sign up to provide a specific item required. If you can bring the item you choose to the hall before mass someone will take care of them for you.

As you can see the garden at the far side of the Blessed Sacrament church has developed nicely thanks to Angela and her small team. We need more volunteers to assist us in particular with the weeding of the flower beds and also with help in the general weeding of the church grounds. If you can assist please see Stephen.
