Ecumenical and Interreligious Pilgrimage This Summer

 Join this year's Ecumenical and Interreligious Pilgrimage, hosted jointly by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cardiff-Menevia and the Church in Wales Diocese of Llandaff. The pilgrimage begins at 1:30pm on Thursday, 3 July 2025 at St Padarn's Institute with reflections from Archbishop Mark and Bishop Mary Stallard (Bishop of Llandaff), followed by a walk to St Teilo's Well and Llandaff Cathedral before crossing the River Taff to Bute Park and on to St David's Cathedral for a liturgy of prayer and reaffirmation of Baptism, with refreshments to follow, concluding around 5pm. Passion Plays

Clydach Players Passion Play 2026 Local dates as follows:- Feb 27th -St Nicholas Townhill Swansea; March 8th - St Benedict’s Clydach Swansea; March 27th - Our Lady Queen of Peace Llanelli (All commence at 7 pm) A great opportunity to see the Passion of Christ being performed on its 40th Anniversary. If you haven’t seen it take this opportunity during lent to see this very dramatic and moving portrayal of the last days of our blessed lord. This year our parishioners Jonathan and James will be joined by Maria and Dominic our altar servers

Stop assisted suicide - further action needed!

Right To Life UK has made an Easy Action tool to email your MP asking them to oppose attempts to force assisted suicide into law by bypassing the House of Lords. Emmaus Discover - Sound of Silence

An event for Year 8 to Year 13 at Belmont Abbey on March 14th 2026. The day will be an experience of monastic life, an opportunity to pray together during Lent, and a chance to get to know other young Catholics. The day is £15pp. See poster for booking details.

Parish Church organ

We have currently collected approximately £2500 toward the full repair of the organ. You will recall that the cost of a full refurbishment of the organ is just over £10,000. If anyone would like to give a donation toward the cost please see Stephen. Also if you made a donation via BACS and did not put organ fund in the reference can you see Stephen so he can identify your amount on the parish bank statement. Many thanks.

Fr. Clement will be away

Emmaus Encounter

The next event run by 'Emmaus Encounter', our ministry to young adults aged 18-30 – is a residential retreat at Belmont Abbey taking place from March 27th to 29th . The retreat costs £150pp, plus a £25 single supplement. The retreat is full board, with a full timetable of activities, including a trip into Hereford on the Saturday to learn about local martyr St John Kemble. See poster in porch for booking details.
