Jesuits in Britain spirituality team. This event which is an ideal introduction to Ignatian prayer led by our team, takes place over Zoom. The day will involve being guided in prayer, individual time for prayer, sharing in small groups. After the day you will be given further suggestions to continue your prayer journey.

We are also running a series called ‘Living with the Spirit of the Synod’ which might be of interest to those in your diocese who took part in the earlier stages of the Synodal     process.

Parish of Gorseinon 59 Club

This is a reminder that the payment for the 59 Club is now due for a further year. Payments should be made by standing order or by Cheque for £48. Cheques being made payable to ‘parish of Gorseinon’. Cash payments are also acceptable. The draw takes place on the first Saturday of the month with the bonus ball from the National Lottery and the winner receives £50. If you want a number speak to Margaret Cleveland or Stephen Nessmann.

Passion Plays

Clydach Players Passion Play 2026 Local dates as follows:- March 27th - Our Lady Queen of Peace Llanelli (commence at 7 pm) A great opportunity to see the Passion of Christ being performed on its 40th Anniversary. If you haven’t seen it take this opportunity during lent to see this very dramatic and moving portrayal of the last days of our blessed lord. This year our parishioners Jonathan and James will be joined by Maria and Dominic our altar servers

Parish Church organ

We have currently collected approximately £2500 toward the full repair of the organ. You will recall that the cost of a full refurbishment of the organ is just over £10,000. If anyone would like to give a donation toward the cost please see Stephen.
