The 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A, is a time for reflection on the themes of trust, faith, and leadership. It invites us to recognize and reverence Christ, as Peter did, and to understand who we are becoming because we know Him. The readings from Isaiah and Romans highlight God's choice of leaders and the importance of following Him with trust, even when the path is not clear. The Gospel of Matthew emphasizes the role of Peter as the foundation of the Church and the authority given to him by Jesus. This Sunday encourages us to trust in God's guidance and to be willing to follow Him in our personal and communal lives.

First Holy Communion classes will begin in September. If your child is aged 7 years or over forms are available in the porch. Completed forms should be given to Mary Roberts.

The annual pilgrimage in honour of St David Lews will take place on 30th August beginning with Evening Prayer and Benediction at St David Lewis Church, Usk at 3.00pm. This will be followed with a walking pilgrimage to the place of execution and then onto the grave of our local martyr at St Mary's Priory Church.
Fatima & First Saturdays Devotion Join parishioners from across the region for a day of faith, prayer, and renewal under Our Lady’s mantle at the upcoming World Apostolate of Fatima (WAF) Symposium.
