We really need a coordinator able to act as an overseer for the various administrative needs noted below.
Parish Hall Our hall is fit for hire therefore we need a hall manager to see to the administration and running of the hall as in important income stream for the parish. Therefore I would be grateful if someone would come forward.
Church/Hall Repair Renovation We need a body of parishioners willing to take on this project in collaboration with the architect and the various bodies and contractors that will move this project forward. I therefore ask for volunteers to assist in this necessary and important work.
St Vincent de Paul (SVP) News The Annual Matthew Mulchay sponsored walk takes place on Sunday 28th September 25 at 2pm from Brangwyn Hall. This is in aid of South Sudan Baby feeding Stations. Saturday, September 20th at Belmont Abbey. An opportunity to welcome our new monks. Come & hear the Downside community’s unfolding story and get to know their fresh hopes. The next in our Deanery Horizons of Hope meetings, 10am Coffee for 10.20am start. Followed by a short book launch!
We are in need of a volunteer to co-ordinate the parish hall bookings. This entails speaking to potential users of the hall, arranging for the contract to be completed prior to signing by the parish priest and arranging for the hall to be opened and closed before and after use. This is not a time consuming role but vital in terms of parish income. The volunteer will be required from the beginning of September 25. If you are interested speak to Stephen
First Holy Communion will commence at the beginning of October 2025. Forms are available in the porch. Please note all candidates need to of 7 years of age to commence the course. Any queries please see Mary Roberts.

The next film club will be this coming Thursday 11th September. The Film is about a group of people in a retirement home who get together once a week to solve murders! All welcome.
We are in need of someone who can assist in the weeding and watering of the plants in the church grounds. This will entail coming to the church once or twice a week in conjunction with another volunteer so the plants are watered every other day. This role will cease during the winter months. The Sacrament of Confirmation If you are in Y9 - Y13 and want to take part in the autumn Confirmation preparation programme starting in October 25, please complete an application form, which can be found in the porch and then speak to Fr Clement/fr Carlito. Application forms need to be received by the end of September 25.
